This is our home. Ours means Harêz’s. The whole house was built by Fatty. He liked to emphasize that only the piano was made by someone else. Gruby was a very talented sculptor. He created unique furniture, sculptures in wood and stone. He also used metal and sometimes made jewelry.

Gruba is involved in music and music therapy. He plays the piano. She teaches. She has published two booklets: Handheld Memory – a kind of calendar for each year, used to record important anniversaries, dates…. all that most people today encode in their phones; and, in collaboration with Leslaw Miśkiewicz, a volume of poems by Thick: A Pen Cleansed with Water.

The house, of course, like a house, is used for living but at the same time is a gallery – a museum of Thube’s works. One of the rooms also houses a collection of my drawings and paintings. All the furniture that serves the household on a daily basis are objects of artistic merit.

Fatty and his friends established an open-air art festival held in Talki …every 20 years. The third edition was held in 2020. As a result, in the house there is a collection of works by Polish painters, sculptors and graphic artists who took part in these meetings.

The works of Andrzej Haręzy (Fatty), can be divided by subject matter, for example: birds, boobs, stools, lamps; and types (or even species), for example: birds on a glass leg, hanging birds, birds hanging in a hoop, cranes, ducks, seagulls, swans, stone boobies, wooden boobies, boobies-bookmarks, boobies-cufflinks ( in collaboration with jeweler Jan Wiszniewski), chairs with boobies, fish… However, any division will be a bit unfair and too rigid for the multitude of varieties of this diverse work.
