Essence of Nature jewelry with soul.

When I decided to move to Berlin in 2009, my beloved tree in my Warsaw garden withered. I received this symbolically on many levels. The hedgerow, in German Lebensbaum. The cones collected from it, cast in silver, started the Joanna’s Tree collection. Working on it helped me through a difficult period of assimilation, but most of all I felt that my tree was still with me. Since then, a passion for bringing back from travels to beautiful places, seeds and plants, transformed into silver replica-amulets, evolved into the Essence of Nature collection.

I grew up in a family with a jewelry tradition. I have been constructing jewelry since forever. It is my passion and a kind of meditation. From the moment of collecting plants to their careful handcrafted finishing in silver casting with attention to detail. But without interfering with their natural beauty, which I try to bring out in minimalist composed jewelry, focused on the mastery and richness of the natural form.

In the casting process, the plant material is burned and its ashes are mixed with silver, so the forms of the castings are raw, non-ideal, always unique like nature itself. I often invite my clients to send treasures from places close to them. This allows me to offer them jewelry whose beauty will be both a memory and a connection to a place close to their hearts, turning absence into presence.
